Trevor Noah, our charming host for the fourth consecutive year, added his special touch at the 66th Grammy Awards held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. It all felt like a musical extravaganza woven with magic and melody.  But there was more than just music in the air—behind the scenes, amendments were made to infuse fairness and transparency, making the event not only a celebration of talent but a heartfelt commitment to making the Grammys a stage where everyone’s voice is heard and appreciated.  From unforgettable performances to thrilling award moments, the Grammys embody the diverse and dynamic world of today’s music.

The Voting Process For Grammys

The voting process begins with members and record companies submitting entries, which are then screened for eligibility and category placement. The Online Entry Process (OEP) Access Period took place from 17th of July, 2023 – 31st of August, 2023. First Round Voting occurred from 11th – 20th October 2023. Lastly, Final Round Voting took place from December 14, 2023 to January 4, 2024 — and the winners announcement on 4th of February 2024.

What’s special this year?

To bring more fairness, transparency and inclusivity the academy added three new categories.
1. Best African Music
2. Best alternative Jazz Album
3. Best POP Dance Recording

Women dominate Grammy nominations.
This year, women are taking center stage at the Grammys, dominating nominations in major categories. In Album, Record, and Song of the Year, the only male nominee is Jon Batiste. With stars like  Taylor Swift, SZA, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Miley Cyrus in the mix, the Grammys are set to celebrate female excellence.

List of Winners

The “Kill Bill” fame SZA (Solana Imani Rowe) had earned in total of nine nominations, the most of any artist this year. Phoebe Bridgers, Serban Ghenea, and Victoria Monet grabbed second postion with seven nominations, followed by Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Jon Batiste, Boygenius, Brandy Clark, and Jack Antonoff with 6 nominations each.
